1. ENGLAND – East Coast – Foul. – A defined area to the south-east of the N. Haisboro north cardinal buoy.
1. GRAVESEND REACH TO MOUSE CHANNEL 88TH THAMES SAILING BARGE MATCH – The 88th Thames Sailing Barge Match will take place on Saturday 22nd June 2019, with participating vessels congregating in Gravesend Reach prior to proceeding to the start line in Lower Hope Reach at Mucking No.3 Buoy. The start is staggered by class at the following times:
07.30am Coasting Class 07.45am Champion Staysail Class 08.00am Champion Bowsprit Class. The race, comprising of 11 sailing barges together with associated escort and official craft, will proceed eastwards to the South West Barrow Buoy before turning about to return to Gravesend for the finish of the race. It should be noted that the intended route may be shortened or modified according the prevailing weather conditions on the day. A number of the participating sailing barges are fitted with AIS transponders and the fleet is expected to comprise of the following vessels: ADIEU, BLUE MERMAID, CENTAUR, EDITH MAY, IRONSIDES, LADY DAPHNE, LADY OF THE LEA, MARJORIE, NIAGARA, REPERTOR and THALATTA.
All participating vessels will be instructed to adhere to local regulations as well as the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972.
2. GRAVESEND REACH TILBURY2 MARINE WORKS – This notice supersedes L20 – Numerous marine works are underway as part of the TILBURY2 development. 3. Harwich VTS – VHF radio system and telephone system replacement works – on or about Monday 10th June 2019 works will be carried out to replace the existing VTS VHF radio and telephone operating system with a new digital system. This work is expected to take 3 days to complete. Resilience systems will be in use by Harwich VTS during the duration of these works and mariners may experience a reduction in operational VHF radio range for a short period of time. Initial ETA information may be passed to VTS by email via email@example.com for the duration of these works. A further notice will be issued on completion of these essential works.
4. Harwich Approaches – on 4th June 2019 the Harwich No.1 Buoy has been moved back to its normal charted position.
5. Port of Wells – dredging again.
